How do you implement the curriculum?

Our 7-Dose research based and core standards aligned curriculum for high school students is usually implemented over the course of seven consecutive school days in the Fall and Spring semesters. We start on a Monday and end on the following Tuesday and typically implement in ALL health or other relevant classes. Due to COVID-19 we are currently hosting all sessions in our virtual classroom. It can be made accessible to all your students through their own technology or live streamed to an in-person class. Please contact us for more information. Is there a cost?

In public school communities where grants and other fundraising resources have been secured to implement the education (step 1) and advocacy (step 2) services, the BringLove365 program is implemented at no cost to the school. When funding is unavailable, the cost to implement the multi-dose education and two weeks of on-site follow-up mobile advocacy services is $35 per student for 1-100 students and $10 for each additional student over the first 100. So, if funding was not secured to implement BringLove365 at your school and you want 250 students to go through the program in the Fall, the cost for the curriculum delivery, supplies, travel, etc. PLUS two weeks of follow-up drop in advocacy services is: 100 x $35=$3,500 150 x $10=$1,500 TOTAL $5,000 Talk to us about cost or scheduling >

How do you measure impact and can the student's work be graded?

Each dose, or lesson, is driven by measurable objectives that align with the core standards for health education. Upon completing the interactive curriculum, teens who have experienced, witnessed or perpetrated victimization know where to get help and how to help a friend, as well as have access to ongoing direct service advocacy, counseling and peer to peer support. The impact realized by our multi-dose education curricula is measured in five ways: Pre/Post Survey: Administered by a trained bloom365 evaluation intern or staff advocate one week prior to delivery and two weeks after, our 10 minute pre/post survey measures changes in knowledge, attitudes, motivations to seek help and the effect of Bloom It Up on bystander intervention. The survey data is collected through handheld clickers. In-Dose Perception v. Reality and Capacity Assessments Student Feedback card data (likert scale and anecdotal) Elephant in the Room cards Workbook and creative project completion (these activities can be graded)

What are the benefits of the 7-Dose Curriculum?

Some of the benefits to the students include: ​​

  • Enhances interpersonal communication skills for conflict resolution and boundary setting.
  • Builds comprehension of caring v. controlling relationships and ways to prevent the root causes of emotional, verbal, physical and sexual violence.
  • Provides access to health information and services to increase safety, empowerment and intervention support.
  • Provides a safe and inclusive space to practice new skills.
  • Empowers students to consume and share digital media messages safely and responsibly.
  • Improves self-esteem and the ability to advocate for safe and healthy relationships.
  • Alleviates help seeking barriers for teens who are experiencing or witnessing teen dating abuse, domestic violence, sexual violence, and/or gender based violence.
The curriculum further boosts the confidence and skills of students to activate, peer to peer, to promote empathy, respect, kindness, equality, safety, and consent as the standard for their generation.

How do I schedule the 7-Dose Curriculum?

If you are not affiliated with a school but would like to host a session you are welcome to email us and we will coordinate a time to bring the 7-dose to you. Due to COVID-19 we have taken our sessions virtual and will resume in-person sessions when safe.
