Frequently asked questions
Both!!
In London: I offer year-round in-person sessions here, since it’s home for me.
In New York City: I return seasonally for longer trips, and love seeing clients in person while I’m there.
In other locations: I host in-person retreats and mini-retreats for deeper community and practice.
Online (Zoom): I work with clients worldwide through virtual sessions – no matter where you are, we can connect.
Most of my clients come to me feeling exhausted by the constant tug-of-war with their bodies. They’re smart, self-aware, and resourceful, but they still find themselves stuck in body dissatisfaction, second-guessing what or how much to eat, or scrolling endlessly through nutrition content that leaves them more confused than before.
Many of them struggle with boundaries – saying yes when they want to say no, overextending for others, and then turning to food or restriction as a coping mechanism. They want to move their bodies in a way that feels joyful, but often it feels like another chore.
They’ve stared at the Ozempic checkout page, wondering if something like that might finally solve it all – but deep down, they know they want something else.
They’re ready for a different kind of support – one that blends practical tools and compassionate guidance, so food and health stop being such a source of stress and start feeling like a source of strength.

As a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist, I have completed a Bachelor's and Master's degree in nutrition. I have also completed American Dietetic Association Accredited clinical internships and passed national board exams. I also have the ability to diagnose nutrition-related problems.
A "nutritionist" is a blanket, unregulated term that anybody can claim themselves as. There are no credentials required to be considered a nutritionist, but there is a Master's, Bachelor's, clinical internship, and board exam required to be a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist.
I operate as an out-of-network provider. If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be provided with a Superbill at the end of each month, which can be submitted to insurance carriers for potential reimbursement. You should check with your insurance carrier for details of your coverage.

If you would like to inquire about Out of Network Reimbursement, call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following questions to verify reimbursement before booking your first appointment:
Do I have out-of-network benefits to see a Registered Dietitian for the following CPT codes: initial session 97802, follow-up sessions 97803.
If yes, what amount of the fee will you cover?
Is pre-authorization required in order to submit an out-of-network claim?
What is the deductible, and how much of the deductible have I met?

You may also ask exactly how to submit your Superbill for reimbursement.

If your insurance plan does not cover nutrition counseling but you do have a Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account (HSA/FSA) card, you can use that to pay for your sessions.
My work is holistic and layered. Yes, I bring the nutrition science (that part doesn’t go anywhere!) – but I also weave in body image counseling, somatic practices, mindfulness, and spiritual tools. I don’t just hand you a meal plan; I help you create a whole new way of relating to food, your body, and yourself
The pursuit of weight loss is not the same thing as the pursuit of health. So I do NOT use weight loss as a marker of progress in our work. To mark your progress, I use things like energy levels, quality of life, mental/emotional state, blood pressure, lab values, digestion, rate of perceived exertion...and MANY other factors besides body weight, shape, or size.
Instead of pursuing weight loss, I believe in pursuing better energy levels, less stress, a better relationship with food, better digestion, and holistic wellbeing.
**If you are in recovery from an eating disorder or another medical condition, weight trends might be tracked, but only as a marker of medical safety.
My services are meant to help you feel less stressed and more empowered. If you have to choose between basic needs and investing in my services, then please prioritize those forms of self-care. But if making the investment in yourself just feels like a bit of leap, please remember that releasing dieting and learning to take care of yourself in a sustainable, accessible, and enjoyable way will ultimately save you THOUSANDS of dollars over the rest of your life.
You will never spend money on a dead-end diet again. You will never be pulled into buying expensive supplements and teas that don't do anything. With the knowledge, tools, and processing space that we provide, you will be able to customize your wellness in a way that works for YOU and your budget. Also, the payout of being free from body shame is HUGE. If this is something you desire, please say yes to yourself!
If you would like to propose a payment plan that makes my services more affordable for you, please don't hesitate to do so. And if you are serious about healing your relationship with food and your body, but can’t make any of my services work financially at the moment, check out my free monthly workshops (registration links are always shared on Instagram). And finally, keep in mind that you can use is an HSA/FSA card to pay for services.
Yes. Yearly, I offer 5-10 sliding scale spaces for 1:1 counseling and scholarship spaces in my group coaching program. If you have a financial need, you may inquire about sliding scale and scholarship availability!
